January 10, 2018, 3pm. About Me. Yesterday I telephoned Timothy Brown here at YWCA (he is in charge of building maintenance, I do not know his title) and left a message on his answering machine. I asked him how long will the EXTREMELY loud drilling sounds go on, on the roof, above my head (exacerbating the easy button laser beam pain in my head). I did not expect that Timothy would return my call (he didn’t); I simply wanted to make the call, to record the loudness of the drilling.
This morning I called YWCA front desk, security desk, and I asked Lewinsky, the security officer on duty, how long will the EXTREMELY loud drilling be going on, on the roof, above my head. He told me he would find out, from the administration office, and no one called me back nor did I expect anyone to call me back; I simply made the call to record the loudness of the drilling.
I then went in the kitchen and took this picture:
YWCA Brooklyn, roofers, January 10, 2018. The scaffolding, or swing stage, is actually above Gerry’s room, 1114, and rooms 1113 and 1112. My room number is 1115. It is the scaffolding that’s making the squeaky creaky playground swing noise, which was EXTREMELY loud last week, simulated creaky swing sounds along with the simulated screeching howling wind sounds during last weekend’s snow storm. I am now very concerned about these men’s safety. cc all Mormon barristers
FOR THE RECORD. Roofers, and also elevator repairmen, here at YWCA Brooklyn, are plaintiffs in a legal case against Berkshire Hathaway, JPMorgan Chase, Citi, Verizon and other corporations including the Mormon Church of Satan. cc all Mormon barristers

I did not know the name of the thing that the roofers stand on, so, I went to Wikipedia to find out: platform, scaffold, swing stage.
Window cleaners in Dresden
Window cleaning, or window washing, is the cleaning of architectural glass used for structural, lighting, or decorative purposes. It can be done manually, using a variety of tools for cleaning and access. Technology is also employed and increasingly, automation.
Commercial work is contracted variously from in-person transactions for cash or barter, to formal tender processes. Regulations, licensing, technique, equipment and compensation vary nationally and regionally.
Windows that needed cleaning became higher as buildings became higher. A trade in window cleaning developed, for instance, in New York City in the late 19th century when early skyscrapers were being built. The height increased the risk to the washers. At first, washers cleaned skyscraper windows by standing on the window ledge and holding onto the frame. Later, leather safety belts attached to anchor bolts were introduced and then scaffolds. For example, the Otis Elevator Company built an electrically operated scaffold for use at Lever House.
Three window cleaners were working at the World Trade Center at the time of the September 11 attacks. Jan Demczur, working in the North Tower, survived and helped save five other people who had been trapped in an elevator with him. Roko Camaj and Fabian Soto, working in the South Tower, were killed.
