Abbey Road and Penny Lane

September 8, 2017.  About Me.  Yesterday early afternoon while feeling easy button laser beam tightening pain in my head, I heard next door amplified creaky door sounds and “haunted house” sounds, and hammering sounds.  For approximately 15 minutes, hammering sounds next door; it sounded as though someone was doing some construction.  Coordinated with the hammering sounds, car horn honks and sirens outside.  The hammering sounds were coming from the room that had the belt sticking out of the door.  That was yesterday, the same day there was a blank notice taped to Abby’s door.

Joan was quizzical; studied pataphysical
Science in the home.
Late nights all alone with a test tube.
Oh, oh, oh, oh.

Maxwell Edison, majoring in medicine,
Calls her on the phone.
“Can I take you out to the pictures,
Joa, oa, oa, oan?”

But as she’s getting ready to go,
A knock comes on the door.

Bang! Bang! Maxwell’s silver hammer
Came down upon her head.
Bang! Bang! Maxwell’s silver hammer
Made sure that she was dead.

Back in school again Maxwell plays the fool again.
Teacher gets annoyed.
Wishing to avoid and unpleasant
Sce, e, e, ene,

She tells Max to stay when the class has gone away,
So he waits behind
Writing fifty times “I must not be
So, o, o, o”

But when she turns her back on the boy,
He creeps up from behind.

Bang! Bang! Maxwell’s silver hammer
Came down upon her head.
Bang! Bang! Maxwell’s silver hammer
Made sure that she was dead.

P. C. Thirty-one said, “We caught a dirty one.”
Maxwell stands alone
Painting testimonial pictures.
Oh, oh, oh, oh.

Rose and Valerie, screaming from the gallery
Say he must go free
(Maxwell must go free)
The judge does not agree and he tells them
So, o, o, o.

But as the words are leaving his lips,
A noise comes from behind.

Bang! Bang! Maxwell’s silver hammer
Came down upon his head.
Bang! Bang! Maxwell’s silver hammer
Made sure that he was dead.

Whoa, oh, oh, oh.
Silver hammer man

Maxwell’s Silver Hammer” is a song by the Beatles, sung by Paul McCartney on their album Abbey Road. It was written by McCartney, though credited to Lennon–McCartney.[3] “Maxwell’s Silver Hammer” is a rock song with dark, eccentric lyrics about a medical student named Maxwell Edison who commits murders with a hammer, although the lyrics are disguised by the upbeat, catchy, and rather “childlike” sound of the song.[1]

In Norse mythology, Thor (/θɔːr/; from Old Norse Þórr) is a hammer-wielding god associated with thunder, lightning, storms, oak trees, strength, the protection of mankind, and also hallowing and fertility. The cognate deity in wider Germanic mythology and paganism was known in Old English as Þunor and in Old High German as Donar (runic þonar ᚦᛟᚾᚨᚱ), stemming from a Common Germanic *Þunraz (meaning “thunder”).

This is a picture of a notice taped to Abby’s door.  Her door is next door to the foul-mouth woman whose door is decorated with a variety of occult witchcraft nuvoodoo Nauvoodoo symbols, and a “GOOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME” sign.  Last week and the week before, on my way to and from Starbucks each day, Shirlene, a new resident in room 1173, was more often than not coincidentally aligned with me in the hallway; I suspect probably because of her room number, 1173—my youngest daughter Jennifer was born in January 1973.

This is a close-up of the notice on Abby’s door.  Why tape the notice, which states nothing other than her room number?  Why was the notice not put under Abby’s door?  I’m not certain but I think Abby is an FBI agent or employed by the military or Homeland Security.  I sense that there is pressure on Abby to “perform”, in what way though, I do not know.  I don’t know what Molly and the rest of the Mormon Danettes/Danites affiliated with YWCA are plotting, I only know that it’s going to backfire.

Abbey Road
The cover of Abbey Road has no printed words. It is a photo of the Beatles, in side view, crossing the street in single file.
Studio album by the Beatles

Abbey Road is the eleventh studio album by English rock band the Beatles, released on 26 September 1969 by Apple Records. The recording sessions for the album were the last in which all four Beatles participated. Although Let It Be was the final album that the Beatles completed before the band’s dissolution in April 1970, most of the album had been recorded before the Abbey Road sessions began.[1] A double A-side single from the album, “Something“/”Come Together“, released in October, topped the Billboard chart in the US.

Abbey Road is a rock album[2] that incorporates genres such as blues, pop, and progressive rock,[3] and it makes prominent use of the Moog synthesizer and the Leslie speaker. Side two contains a medley of song fragments edited together to form a single piece. The album was recorded amid a more enjoyable atmosphere than the Get Back/Let It Be sessions earlier in the year, but there were still frequent disagreements within the band, particularly over Paul McCartney‘s song “Maxwell’s Silver Hammer“. John Lennon had privately left the group by the time the album was released and McCartney publicly quit the following year. A 16-minute medley of several short songs comprise the majority of side two, closing with the lyric “and in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make”.

Although Abbey Road was an immediate commercial success and reached number one in the UK and US, it initially received mixed reviews, some critics describing its music as inauthentic and bemoaning the production’s artificial effects. Many critics now view the album as the Beatles’ best and rank it as one of the greatest albums of all time. In particular, George Harrison‘s contributions, “Something” and “Here Comes the Sun“, are considered to be among the best songs he wrote for the group. The album’s cover features the four band members walking across a zebra crossing outside Abbey Road Studios and has become one of the most famous and imitated images in the history of recorded music. As of 2011[update], Abbey Road remains one of the Beatles’ best-selling albums.

Penny Lane there is a barber showing photographs
Of every head he’s had the pleasure to know.
And all the people that come and go
Stop and say “Hello”.
On the corner is a banker with a motorcar,
And little children laugh at him behind his back.
And the banker never wears a mac
In the pouring rain, very strange.
Penny Lane is in my ears and in my eyes.
There beneath the blue suburban skies
I sit, and meanwhile back
In Penny Lane there is a fireman with an hourglass,
And in his pocket is a portrait of the Queen.
He likes to keep his fire engine clean,
It’s a clean machine.
Penny Lane is in my ears and in my eyes.
A four of fish and finger pies
In summer. Meanwhile back
Behind the shelter in the middle of the roundabout
The pretty nurse is selling poppies from a tray.
And though she feels as if she’s in a play,
She is anyway.
In Penny Lane the barber shaves another customer,
We see the banker sitting waiting for a trim,
And then the fireman rushes in
From the pouring rain – very strange.
Penny Lane is in my ears and in my eyes.
There beneath the blue suburban skies
I sit, and meanwhile back.
Penny Lane is in my ears and in my eyes.
There beneath the blue suburban skies
Penny Lane!

David Eden Lane (November 2, 1938 – May 28, 2007) was an American white supremacist leader and convicted felon.[1][2][3] A member of The Order, he was convicted and sentenced to 190 years in prison for racketeering, conspiracy, and for violating the civil rights of Alan Berg, a Jewish radio talk show host, who was murdered on June 18, 1984. He died while incarcerated in the Federal Correctional Complex in Terre Haute, Indiana.[4]

Lane coined the best-known slogan of the U.S. white supremacist movement, the Fourteen Words. He has been described by the SPLC as “one of the most important ideologues of contemporary white supremacy.”[1]
