June 5, 2017. About Me.  Yesterday when I saw a man with a musical horn in the same car that I was in, me with intentions of making an important message from me announcement and the fact that Mayor de Blasio knows all the details about the orchestrated shooting of two NYPD police officers (a black man shot and killed an Asian police officer and an Hispanic police officer) and some other important message from me announcements from me with permission from some of the CIA-DIA-FBI agents who’re tired of pretending to be Jehovah’s Witnesses, I sat down because I knew that, as soon as the door closed he would begin playing his horn. He was wearing a funny looking hat and he told the passengers that he was an alien.  Musicians and singers sometimes ride the MTA subway playing musical instruments and singing, in hopes of change or a dollar from passengers. I sat in a seat and began reading the book I am currently reading, Crazy Rich Asians by Kevin Kwan.  When he (the jazz horn blower) turned around and I saw a badge or seal on the brightly colored shirt he was wearing, I wondered.  While it looked like an Emirates shirt, it wasn’t. Which Middle Eastern nation flag is the decoration on this black man’s shirt?? I continued to wonder, then I decided, that, after he finished his music, I would  give him a dollar and ask him if I could take a picture of his shirt, because I like colors and I’m trying to become a professional photographer.  I cannot post the  picture of his horn and his shirt (I did not think to take a picture of his “alien” headwear)because Mormon computer gremlins are still illegally preventing me from using Microsoft Windows Paint and I do not know if its possible to post pictures from my Googles Photo directly to my website.  The man was wearing a colorful stripes shirt decorated with an eagle and the letters FEF.  He is now a plaintiff in a legal case against Berkshire Hathaway, Accenture, Boeing, Citigroup, Universal Music, Verizon and a whole lot of other corporations including and most especially the Mormon Church od Satan. cc all Mormon barristers

June 5, 2017, 10:35am.  A young Muslim couple was standing at the bar, Starbucks Atlantic Terminal, so, I looked around to see who else was standing at the bar.  A young white male businessman was standing at the bar, wearing a blue/white checkerwork shirt, and a Swiss Wear backpack. I asked him if I could take a picture of his backback, because I would love to visit Switzerland. He told me no, so, I took a picture of him, his shirt and his backpack.  I am certain he will report me to the police, and to Starbucks.  If the police come here and tell me to delete the picture, I will. If Starbucks tells me I am not longer allowed in the premises, I will go somewhere else.  Another Starbucks or one of Starbucks’ subsidiaries.  A white male carrying a huge FedEx plastic bag is in here, and a black female wearing a trendy military camouflage jacket.  Now two New York State Emergency Medical Technician badges on their shirts.  This is too overwhelming.

Though it boasts handsome production values and Tom Tykwer amongst its producer team, Kenyan crime thriller Veve is otherwise a catalog of missed and squandered opportunities, a thriller that simply fails to thrill thanks to a script overstuffed with unengaging subplots and two dimensional characters going through the motions of an overly familiar scenario and an utter lack of performers with any significant charisma.

NYPD officer dragged by car in Brooklyn for several blocks, Commissioner O’Neill says

By Nicole Brown   nicole.brown@amny.com June 4, 2017

Two women who were passengers of the car that dragged a police officer for more than two blocks in a Brooklyn street were charged with hindering prosecution and charges are still pending for a 15-year-old boy who was also in the car, police said.

Officer Dalsh Veve, 35, was in stable condition Monday, after being dragged by a stolen car near Tilden Avenue and East 53rd Street in East Flatbush at about midnight, early Sunday morning, according to authorities.

Officer Dalsh Veve, 35, was speaking with several people inside a black Honda sedan that was parked near the instersection when the car suddenly sped off, dragging Veve for two-and-a-half blocks before he fell onto the street, NYPD commissioner James O’Neill said at a news conference Sunday morning.

As he was being dragged, Veve appears to have fired his weapon, hitting one of the car’s occupants, a 15-year-old boy, in the face, according to the commissioner.

The vehicle, which was recently stolen on Long Island, crashed on East 53rd Street, between Snyder and Church avenues. The occupants abandoned it and fled.

Veve and five other plainclothes officers had been responding to three 911 calls reporting gunshots in the area. They quickly determined that the reason for the calls was fireworks, not gunshots, O’Neill said.

Veve, a nine-year veteran of the NYPD, was taken to Kings County Hospital in critical condition, officials said.

Shortly after, the 15-year-old suspect walked into Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center and was in serious condition Sunday, the commissioner said. He is a Brooklyn resident and has a significant arrest record for his age, the most recent being last month for grand larceny, a law enforcement source said.

Two women who were passengers of the car — Jeronda Oliver, 18, and Eboni Clinton, 19, — were charged with hindering prosection, police said Monday.

Speaking before the Celebrate Israel Parade, Mayor Bill de Blasio said Veve underwent surgery and was currently “fighting for his life.” Police said Monday that Veve was in stable condition.

“This is a young man who, according to everyone I spoke to last night at the hospital, including his precinct commander, has had an exemplary career over the last nine years as an NYPD officer — one of the most commended and decorated members of his precinct,” he said.

“He represents the American dream: an immigrant child who came here and joined the greatest police force in the country and has been an exemplary officer,” the mayor said.

City Councilman Dr. Mathieu Eugene, who said he knows Veve and his family from Cap-Haitien, Haiti, where they lived in the same neighborhood, said Veve was resting following his surgery.

“He’s sleeping now,” Eugene said, addressing reporters outside Kings County Hospital at about 2 p.m. “I think the surgery was successful.”

Eugene declined to answer questions about specific injuries.

“I hope that he’s going to be okay,” he said.

Veve is an officer in the 67th precinct. He is married and has a 2-year-old daughter, O’Neill said. De Blasio visited Veve’s family at the hospital, according to his spokesman Eric Phillips.

Two officers were injured after a suspected criminal refused to stop for police and instead led cops on a high-speed chase.
The Brooklyn police department in Ohio released dramatic dashcam and bodycam footage of Friday’s incident, which shows the officer being dragged along the road during a traffic stop.
The video shows a police officer asking 34-year-old Thomas L. LaForce to step out of the car after he recognized his SUV.

The 15-year-old suspect, who has a long rap sheet for crimes including robbery and larceny, was shot in the face amid the fray Saturday night. He also is still in the hospital, but is expected to be released later Monday. The boy is expected to face charges in connection with the attack on NYPD officer Dalsh Veve.

Two Brooklyn women, Eboni Clinton, 19, of Brooklyn, and Jeronda Oliver, 18, of Brooklyn, have both been charged with hindering prosecution, authorities said.

Veve, 35, was one of six plainclothes officers who responded to a party in East Flatbush Saturday night after multiple 911 calls for shots fired. They ultimately determined it was fireworks going off.

Veve was talking to the occupants of a Honda parked in front of a fire hydrant across the street when the car took off, dragging him for more than two blocks. Veve managed to fire off two shots, striking one of the people inside.

Veve fell free on East 53rd Street and the car — which had been stolen sometime previously from Valley Stream on Long Island — crashed and was abandoned, officials said.

Veve was taken to King’s County Hospital, where he was in critical condition. He underwent surgery Sunday morning.

“Right now he’s fighting to survive,” Mayor de Blasio said.

The mayor said he was at the officer’s bedside Saturday night along with Veve’s wife.

“Her strength was clear and her pain was clear as well,” de Blasio said.

About Me. I am not a member of “Sister Strength Housing”, I live in a room, not an apartment, not a unit.  I have no complaint against Martha Kamber, Director of Brooklyn YWCA.  Quite the contrary; I am deeply grateful for the compassion extended to me when I went to the YWCA seeking a room. Iyana Nathaniel was then director of housing. A year or two later when I read that Ms. Kamber and YWCA board of directors resisted offers to sell the building, I think the offers were made before I moved in, I felt deeply grateful. Even after I myself move, which I hope to before the end of the year, I hope the YWCA is not sold; I hope housing is still available for the residents of Brooklyn YWCA.  cc all Mormon barristers

NYPD Commissioner James O’Neill also visited the wounded cop Sunday morning.

One of Veve’s neighbors said his vigilance — even while off duty — made the neighborhood feel safer.

“Sometimes, there’s sketchy people on the block, and I talk to him about it, and he tells us he’s watching,” said Martha Forrisi. “It’s like he’s always on the job.”
